Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has received numerous awards for her work. She advocates human rights for animals. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born into an artistic family. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modelling and acting. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. With just three releases she was voted the Top female box-office start worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
