Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge of the job, but quickly stopped her the interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. Before selling the business, she spent 18 years building it into a highly successful store. There were many more cookbooks and magazine columnists that followed. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. Additionally, she offers all kinds of cooking equipment, supplies and containers. Ina has never attended a cookery school nor did she work in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is known for her unpretentious approach to entertainment and simple cooking. The most well-known recipes she has created are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
