Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for over forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge success, and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her acting career between Broadway television and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as contrast to her image of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she was also a prominent director on popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
