Hayley is an American actress and singer. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. But, she is to be primarily as a musician. Music is always been her primary passion. As she grew to 12 old, music became seriously enough, that she started professionally trained. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she made her first album of cover songs. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic culture. In order to maintain the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs using the language. She recorded a Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia had been selected through YouTube videos and got four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three female singers along with her were grouped together to perform the rest of her tracks. The group was eliminated at final show.
