Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Although she's a singer, her primary passion is music. It is the first thing that interests her. It is something she is experimenting with since she was nine years old. As she grew to 12 years old, her music took more serious form and she started training professionally. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded her album of music covers when she was 14. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic origins. Though she grew up speaking only English and never lived in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic roots. She endeavours to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish and writing songs in the language. She recorded the Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube video submission. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. Three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of other songs. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
